AmericaPANIC has a special message for Sarah Palin: Go **** yourself. Can I be any more clear than that?

Sarah Palin represents all that is wrong with America today.

Ignorant. Incompetent. Cynical. And willing to say and do anything to get elected. Even if that's calling your opponent an unpatriotic terrorist who hates America. You know, like Bush and Cheney did to opponents of the Iraq Debacle.

Sarah Palin, and John McCain, and Karl Rove, go **** yourselves. The majority of Americans thankfully aren't buying your party's crap and gutter politics anymore.

Sarah Palin insinuating that Obama is a terrorist who thinks America is a force of evil should outrage all free-thinking patriotic Americans. She should be voraciously and loudly protested anywhere she rears her head in the final days of her and McCain's dying campaign.

Palin showed her true character by not categorically rejecting this Rick Davis crap. She was either too stupid or too immoral to do the right thing. And she should be ashamed.

Every time I hear her speak I get nauseas. There’s only one thing worse than another 4 years of Bush and its having to listen to that.

Hey, when is Obama going to pick his VP? Only a month to go and there's no mention of the guy/gal in the press. What a shocking display of poor leadership!

Of course the great irony here is that voting for Obama is actually a vote for a Republican takeover of Congress in 2010 and the White House in 2012.

WIth that in mind...

Go Obama-Biden '08!

You do have to admire the Democrats' political brilliance:

1997: Clinton creates "sub-prime mortgages" with his policy that everyone should be "entitled" to a home loan

1999: Clinton Justice Department begins threatening legal action against banks that refuse to issue sub-prime mortgages, essentially forcing them to and starting the late great sub-prime housing bubble

2001: Bush warns about impending sub-prime crisis but is quickly distracted by 9/11 and never revisits the issue.

2003: Senate Republicans warn against Fannie and Freddie and state that a major overhaul is needed but are quickly silenced by a Democrat filibuster.

(Note to trolls: Republicans may have had a Senate majority but never had a 60-40 majority needed to quash a filibuster. Therefore they never actually "controlled" Congress.)

2005: Senate Republicans again warn about Fannie and Freddie, with McCain predicting a financial collapse if Fannie and Freddie are not overhauled. They are again silenced by a Democrat filibuster.

2008: The house of cards conveniently collapses a month before the presidential election, giving a free pass to Obama and the democrats.

Now we will have the worst Congress in history empowered by one of their own in the White House.

Congratulations to the Republicans for retaking Congress in 2010, likely by a 2/3 majority, and congratulations also to President-Elect Gingrich in 2012 with a historic landslide over President Obama.

Frank - please contact me about doing a wager

The GOP will be out of power for so long it'll amaze even me

They may never recover. Seriously, they may never recover. To the dust bin of history with the know-nothings, the whigs, etc

Well, in the grand scheme of things, why am I bothering to even speculate about 2012? If Obama wins, there will NOT be a 2012 election and all you KoolAid drinkers know it.

Start kissing America goodbye effective 5 Nov 08 should Obama win.

HPers. Evaluate Sarah Palin. Report back.

The Narcissistic Vampire Checklist

THE SMARTEST, MOST TALENTED, ALL-AROUND BEST PERSON IN THE WORLD TEST:

True or false? Score one point for each true answer.

1. THIS PERSON HAS ACHIEVED MORE THAN MOST PEOPLE HIS OR HER AGE.

2. THIS PERSON IS FIRMLY CONVINCED THAT HE OR SHE IS BETTER, SMARTER, OR MORE TALENTED THAN OTHER PEOPLE.

3. THIS PERSON LOVES COMPETITION, BUT IS A POOR LOSER.

4. THIS PERSON HAS FANTASIES OF DOING SOMETHING GREAT OR BEING FAMOUS, AND OFTEN EXPECTS TO BE TREATED AS IF THESE FANTASIES HAD ALREADY COME TRUE.

5. THIS PERSON HAS VERY LITTLE INTEREST IN WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE THINKING OR FEELING, UNLESS HE OR SHE WANTS SOMETHING FROM THEM.

6. THIS PERSON IS A NAME DROPPER.

7. TO THIS PERSON IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO LIVE IN THE RIGHT PLACE AND ASSOCIATE WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE.

8. THIS PERSON TAKES ADVANTAGE OF OTHER PEOPLE TO ACHIEVE HIS OR HER OWN GOALS.

9. THIS PERSON USUALLY MANAGES TO BE IN A CATEGORY BY HIM OR HERSELF.

10. THIS PERSON OFTEN FEELS PUT UPON WHEN ASKED TO TAKE CARE OF HIS OR HER RESPONSIBILITIES TO FAMILY, FRIENDS, OR WORK GROUP.

11. THIS PERSON REGULARLY DISREGARDS RULES OR EXPECTS THEM TO BE CHANGED BECAUSE HE OR SHE IS IN SOME WAY SPECIAL.

12. THIS PERSON BECOMES IRRITATED WHEN OTHER PEOPLE DON'T AUTOMATICALLY DO WHAT HE OR SHE WANTS THEM TO DO, EVEN WHEN THEY HAVE A GOOD REASON FOR NOT COMPLYING.

13. THIS PERSON REVIEWS SPORTS, ART, AND LITERATURE BY TELLING YOU WHAT HE OR SHE WOULD HAVE DONE INSTEAD.

14. THIS PERSON THINKS MOST CRITICISMS OF HIM OR HER ARE MOTIVATED BY JEALOUSY.

15. THIS PERSON REGARDS ANYTHING SHORT OF WORSHIP TO BE REJECTION.

16. THIS PERSON SUFFERS FROM A CONGENITAL INABILITY TO RECOGNIZE HIS OR HER OWN MISTAKES. ON THE RARE OCCASIONS THAT THIS PERSON DOES RECOGNIZE A MISTAKE, EVEN THE SLIGHTEST ERROR CAN PRECIPITATE A MAJOR DEPRESSION.

17. THIS PERSON OFTEN EXPLAINS WHY PEOPLE WHO ARE BETTER KNOWN THAN HE OR SHE IS NOT REALLY ALL THAT GREAT.

18. THIS PERSON OFTEN COMPLAINS OF BEING MISTREATED OR MISUNDERSTOOD.

19. PEOPLE EITHER LOVE OR HATE THIS PERSON.

20. DESPITE THIS PERSON'S OVERLY HIGH OPINION OF HIM OR HERSELF, HE OR SHE IS REALLY QUITE INTELLIGENT AND TALENTED.

Scoring: Five or more true answers qualifies the person as a Narcissistic Emotional Vampire, though not necessarily for a diagnosis of Narcissistic Personality. If the person scores higher than ten, and is not a member of the royal family, be careful that you aren't mistaken for one of the servants.

What happened to John McCain? What happened to the man so many of us in New Hampshire have admired and respected for so long? The fierce bipartisan warrior, the straight talker, the maverick whose ideas nearly everyone found some common ground with now seems missing in action. He seems to have betrayed the very attributes that originally commended him to us and earned our earlier trust and support.

We continue to stand in awe of his heroic service to his country during Vietnam, but now he shamelessly uses those experiences at every opportunity, as if it excuses him from having to answer any really tough questions about the economy or foreign policy. The answer to everything is not to mention his admittedly harrowing POW days. My experience interviewing heroes of war is that most prefer to deflect attention from themselves and let their record speak for itself. McCain seems to think that it buys him a permanent pass. But it is impossible to know how to fight the new wars if you are hopelessly lost in the old ones.

Surrounded and programmed by the lobbyists he once despised, the man who once effortlessly straddled the aisle and spoke from the heart now carefully hews to a prompter-read, soulless far-right agenda.

Huh?

So now, like, the world will come to an end if Obama, or any other Dem for that matter, becomes President for the next 4 years... no, wait, the Republicans are taking over in 2010, or something or... uh, what's your point?

Dennis:

You were right about Ron Paul. You are wrong about Obama. Bush never was a fiscal conservative. It is fiscal conservatism which makes Ron Paul's arguments so compelling. Obama will drift further from that point of view than John McCain. Sarah Palin at least has had to balance a budget.

Do you really think that we will save money by trying to pull out of Iraq? That's funny.

SHe's no more evil than any other republican. She's just upfront about it.

I mean, they're all white trash. That's how white trash talks and thinks. I'm surprised she didn't call him a n*gger.

Are you turning main-stream? Why no mention that at this rally Shelly Mandel, presidenet of the LA chapter of NOW, endorsed Palin and introduced her as "what a feminist looks like." Not saying I agree with her. Probably related to Hillary backlash. But I'm curious that on this site you only post the same stuff that's all over the msm and let everything else slide past....

I don't know what Frank meant but I can see an Obama win leading to fascism like this:

1)Obama wins election.
2)Fake "Reichstag Fire" crisis arises before oath of office.
3)Crisis results in martial law
4)Obama shot or possibly arrested or framed, gets sent to Gitmo. Biden has unforseen health problem, maybe McSame does too (too much polonium, ricin or whatever in their corn flakes)
5)Palin made provisional proconsul during indeterminate period until calm is restored (cheney volunteers services as advisor)
6)Resulting civil unrest justifies continued provisional proconsular government.

Coups usually go like that.

Every time I see Sarah Palin's mug I get this urge to reach for a tomato from a box to practice my fastball.

I wish the Cubs pitching coach would have thought of setting up a wall marked with strike zones and her mug in the middle and tell the pitchers "Here's a box of tomatoes. Have at it!".
