George Bush will likely pardon Dick Cheney, Alberto Gonzales, Harriet Miers, Karl Rove and Donald Rumsfeld. Should Obama warn him not to do that?

I think if Obama gets the message out now that if Bush pardons any of the criminals in his administration, that Obama won't protect Bush himself against future criminal prosecution.

Pardons? Sure, go ahead, but you'll go to jail yourself Mr. Bush.

Otherwise, you'll see Bush pardon every person who ever worked for him.

Watch for this to be the big story soon, leading up to the Glorious Final Day.

This argument is precisely why we MUST censure and remove Bushco and Cheneyburton NOW. No pardon power for Chimpy. No more surprises.

Where is McBushco hiding anyway? Betty Ford clinic? Once a drunk, always a drunk...

These people (do not forget Rice and Powell-the-liar) need to be thrown into the dock ASAP to defend their heinous crimes against America. Felonies, war crimes, Murder, if applicable.

And your other hero Bill did some of his own pardoning at the last hour a former terrorist and swindler if I remember but hey he's a Democrat and the polls are closing tighter so you might have to change you map a bit.

You forgot Gordon Libby. The fall guy that protected Bush/Cheney. He is on the top of the pardon list.

Obama won't do that. If he wins he will be a moderate Dem, won't want to rally and piss off the other 43% too much. Will say he's focused on rebuilding not a 'witch hunt', then let it go. i think it sucks but I'll bet that's what he'll do.

How does Bush pardon people that haven't even been formally charged? That's ridiculous.
All these guys will probably leave the country because there will be an army of attorneys and investigators after their butts the minute Obama is sworn in.
