AmericaPANIC Quote of the Day

"That’s why I say I, like every American I’m speaking with, were ill about this position that we have been put in where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health-care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy, helping the—it’s got to be all about job creation, too, shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track. So health-care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans. And trade, we’ve got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive, scary thing. But one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today, we’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that."

- Sarah Palin (Idiot), days before dropping out of the 2008 Presidential race for "family reasons", September 2008

Like OMG did she really like totally say that? What drug is she on? Ritalin? Prozac?

That statement she made is soo like those beauty contests: the winner promises she'll fight for world peace, eliminating hunger and disease and fostering global freedom...

Good chance she'll be VP, Keith. You should know from running this blog that a good 75% of America is white trash and now they've got one of their own steps away from major power.

After all, if they vote for the black democrat, he'll take all of their money and give it to blacks on welfare. Right after he makes Al Sharpton Secretary of State. Don't forget too, that democrats are wussies who won't kill everyone else in the world so the white trash can feel safe going to WalMart to get Huggies.

You're so naive living over there for so long. Did you forget who we're dealing with here?

I love/loathe how she just remembers, mid-sentence, to add in another talking point. I think it was in Newsweek, Fareed Zakaria, who said that it was just a vapid download, without even a hint of the ususal poitical artistry. I mean, she makes Bush look positively polished. Crazy. But thank god she was this bad, because about half of the hard core conservative pundits HAVE to call her out. And the other half are showing their hands as obvious water carriers.

This makes me HATE McCain for his insipid and insulting choice for VP.

All she did was read the talking points McCain's advisers gave her as one streaming sentence.

She had no original thought.

She is a moron.

Period.

She is a moron.

Give us Kay Baily. Give us Libby Dole. McCain picked probably the least qualified and dumbest woman in the Republican party.

Because she was hot.

Come on keith, let's have some equal opportunity. Yes, Palin is a dunce with little experience. So is Obamessiah.

And Biden's a walking gaffe machine.

Obamessiah was on the take with Fannie and Freddie. Why do you support this guy?

Both McCain and Obama support the destruction of america. The difference is how they do it. Why support a giant douch over a turd sandwich? Why support either?

did biden really say FDR went on TV?

Amazing. Biden was alive back then, wasn't he? so he should have known there weren't any TVs.

Where is Ron Paul when you need him?

How many planes did McCain crash?

Maybe that number will ring-a-bell since he forgot how many houses he owns...

Yeah, BO is an elitist...
