Here's Ron Paul questioning a clueless John McCain about the plunge protection team. I'd still like McCain to answer the question, if he's capable

When you are an ignoramus, it's tough to answer things about which you know nothing.

It was hilarious to see McCain try to answer this question. It'd be even funnier to hear what Sarah Palin had to say.

"Working group on capital? What the hell is that? I'm from Alaska, and we can see Russia."

Phil Gramm? That does not reassure me one bit. McCain should be really careful talking about the 1980s anyway; he did not survive the decade all that well.

On the other hand, to see someone as deeply engaged on social and economic policy as Ron Paul suggests that there is hope for a better future, even if that hope appears dim.

Good ol' Ron Paul. Maybe someone should ask him a question -- what the hell did he do with the $30 million people donated to his presidential campaign? He sure didn't spend it campaigning. Did the PPT sneak into his bank account and steal it, along with that collection of tin foil hats?

McCain used to be a "maverick" due to his idealogical underpinnings.

Not any more...

He sold those virtues to finance his vain attempt at achieving the status of Commander in Chief.

Now, his disjointed political meanderings reveal the string-pulling of the GOP spinmeisters.

What a shame that a champion of campaign finance reform finds himself in this self-inflicted predicament.

I think he burned those...or gave to Al Quaeda...or stole them...

Any more ideas?

That "maverick" image has been just that, an image, a projection on the wall, a picture that looks real but isn't.

My elderly relatives lost EVERYTHING under Keating. I wonder when that little bit of smudge on war hero's teflon suit is going to resurface.

Has everyone forgotten the "Keating 5"

Palin thinks the plunge protection team is a plumbing service
