Put down the kool-ade and wake up bubba. Ronnie presided over the early days of the decline and fall of the USA. It is the policies of the Reagan administration that sowed the seeds of the bitter fruit we are now harvesting.

And it is you Reagan Democrats that did not get it then and do not get it now and should hang your heads in shame for being such fools for voting for the candidates such as Reagan and Bush because you chose to believe their lies when if you had looked at the truth of their records and positions you would have known that they wanted to destroy you, your way of life, your future and the entire middle class of the USA.

If you still think R.R. is "the great one may god forgive you. I can not.

Before all you trolls get all wound up Clinton is guilty too but his administration has nothing to do with how foolish the Reagan and Bush Democrats have been.

In the near future the name Bush will become a noun. A word to describe failure, disaster, destruction. As in.."Oh boy. A Bush is about to happen."

President Ulysses S. Grant's administration was the most corrupt up to his time. Influence peddling was so bad, shortly after he left office, his name Grant came to mean giving money to or doing a favor for.

To this day, nonprofits write proposals so they can get a "grant".

I have two words...Alan Greenspan...I would like to see him investigated handcuffed and arrested. I would like to see his wife fired from MSNBC...
Next Rupert Murdoch....

The etymology of the word "grant" goes back to the 13th century. Look it up.

Nice story, though.

"During the first and only vice presidential debate, Sen. Joe Biden and Gov. Sarah Palin came out swinging, citing differences over economic issues and energy policy. But they agreed on one thing -- opposition to same-sex marriage."
Thanks God, at least they agree on the important stuff!

Not very patriotic but very true. It start with "trickle down" and letting a bunch of religious fruitcakes into the Republican party.

Bushco and Cheneyburton straight to trial then to prison for life.

McCain to the rest home and Palin to cheerleading try outs.

It don't matter...who ever gets the nod is taking over the supertanker of state that has been locked onto a collision course with the rocks. Turn all you want, you only get to decide at what angle you hit the rocks. Then it only matters who was in command at the time, not the circumstances leading up to it.

I hope to hell Dubya is still standing in the pilot house when it hits. Take it you bitch...

The smallest of consolations.

Bushco and Cheneyburton synchronizing their watches to track when their prison terms run out.

Life without possibility of parole for both.

Idiots like you are the reason we are about to elect a Marxist as president and become the People's Republic of America.

No what I wrote is very patriotic. What Reagan did was to convince a large segment of our population that government is the problem. That is what is unpatriotic. He said that our government is the problem. A government that is supposed to be a government of the people, for the people and by the people! He said that is a problem. That we the people are the problem! That is unpatriotic and insulting. And worse yet he started the process of taking the government out of the hands of the people and handed the government to big business.

George Washington, Thomas Paine, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and the other founding fathers of this great nation had enough faith in the people to structure a government that worked for the people not the other way around.

If we the people are too busy watching Dancing with the Stars and NASCAR to do their patriotic duty and hold their representatives accountable I hope we all wake up and see where that course of action has led us.

Reagan and his surrogates get laughs by saying the US government is to big and they want to drown it in a bathtub.

OF THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE. The US goverment is 305,3265,009 and growing (current US population 4:27 PM PST). The government they wanted to drown in a bathtub was us and now look at how many of us are under water.

I hate Reagan and his followers for what they have done to the greatest country that has ever existed in the history of the world but they haven't killed it nor have they killed the spirit of those of us who truly understand what it means to be patriotic and what it means to be an American.
