AmericaPANIC Quote of the Day
"Americans Are the Most Entertained and Least Informed People On the Planet"
- Robert F. Kennedy Jr., July 2007
Side note - and we see what that got us. Ignorance is not bliss... I blame the media, I blame the government, but most importantly, I blame the people. An intellectually incurious, painfully ignorant crowd, willing to do what they're told, willing to believe what they're told.
A people and a country now being sheared like the willing sheep they've become.

That video over at truthout has been replaced. Between the "I kid you not's", Greg Palast seems to have enough evidence to ensure that Bush, Cheney and Rove don't make it out of the country in one piece.
Fat, dumb, lazy and stupid jsut about sum up America and its people.
hey, did you hear clay aiken is gay? who would have thunk!
and the rest of the population not tuned into 24hr TV is sitting in the parent's basement, in their underwear, reading and posting to blogs.
No coincidence that the rise of this deep-seated ignorance correlates to the rise in conservatism over the past 30 years.
That's why they're called ignorant brainstems.

read something funny:
This election is John Kerry II versus George Bush III
obama is less and less about change as we get closer to the election.

wow, I see the rise of conservatism as a response to the increasing ignorance and intolerance being caused by the liberal movement.
yes, liberals are the most intolerant group out there. They say they aren't but their actions show otherwise. for example, now that the democrats have been in control of congress for 2 years what have they done for gays and gay marriage?
