CNN's Campbell Brown scolds McCain as sexist for keeping poor little Sarah Palin, a delicate little flower, away from the big bad wolves in the media
25 gutless and shameful days since Palin was announced and still not one single press conference. Nice to see AP isn't the only one making a stink of this now.
But hey, we wouldn't want her to be asked any tough questions after all. Not like someone who could be president should be subjected to tough questions.
American isn't buying this warm bucket of spit anymore McCain. Lose you will, but lose with honor, and let your veep speak for heaven's sake. What are you so afraid of?
Here's Campbell Brown - Free Sarah Palin!
Tonight I call on the McCain campaign to stop treating Sarah Palin like she is a delicate flower that will wilt at any moment," said Brown.
This woman is from Alaska for crying out loud. She is strong. She is tough. She is confident. And you claim she is ready to be one heart beat away form the presidency. If that is the case, then end this chauvinistic treatment of her now. Allow her to show her stuff. Allow her to face down those pesky reporters...
Let her have a real news conference with real questions. By treating Sarah Palin different from the other candidates in this race, you are not showing her the respect she deserves. Free Sarah Palin. Free her from the chauvinistic chain you are binding her with.
Sexism in this campaign must come to an end. Sarah Palin has just as much a right to be a real candidate in this race as the men do. So let her act like one.

Letting Sarah Palin Answer Questions Is Very, Very Dangerous
By Greg Sargent - September 24, 2008, 1:51PM
The lengths the McCain campaign is going to in order to shield Sarah Palin from questioning are reaching truly comic dimensions.
Check out this nugget from the pool report, via Jonathan Martin, on John McCain and Palin's meeting with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko:
McCain then looked around the room and gestured as if to welcome questions. The AP reporter shouted a question at Gov. Palin ("Governor, what have you learned from your meetings?") but McCain aide Brooke Buchanan intervened and shepherded everybody out of the room.
Palin looked surprised, leaned over to McCain and asked him a question, to which your pooler thinks he shook his head as if to say "No."
Palin can't even be allowed to answer a question as basic as this?
What's really sobering is that the McCain campaign continues to block Palin from answering questions even though it's now resulting in reams and reams of bad press for the McCain-Palin ticket. That suggests McCain advisers know that letting her answer even the most elementary questions in an uncontrolled environment is so dangerous that it's worth weathering the current media drubbing they're taking in order to prevent it from happening at all costs.

Hey Keith, there's a video of Robert F. Kennedy Jnr over at truthout where he talks about the manipulation of the american people and the media (don't be fooled by the title). The page states that the speech was from 2008 but he makes reference to the start of the Iraq war being a year ago. Anyhow here is the link.
"America would never be destroyed by a foriegn enemy... but he warned that our bill of rights, our constitution and our treasured democratic institutions would be subverted by malefactors of great wealth who would steal them from within."
I see an early retirement coming for Campbell Brown (who?).
CNN? The network that's even more biased toward the left than Fox is to the right?
Yup.
But you'll only hear the words "Faux News" on this site while CNN gets a free pass.
aren't Burger King managers affirmative action hires?
